As many of you have heard already, I sustained a compound fracture of my left ankle last weekend while pitching.  The surgery went well, and I am home resting.  A long road to recovery is ahead, but I will be back.  

 

It has been brought to my attention that a few of my friends decided to do a drawing for a few bats at last weekend's FHC Tournaments in Vero.  I want to thank all of you that contributed and participated in the drawing.  The winners of the 2 Short Porch Bats were Craig Knowles from RBC and Mark Lauer "Slugger" from the Ft Myers Miracle/Ultissimo 65's. A Special Thank You to Todd Cox of Phantom Sports for donating the bats and Craig McCoy, Chuck Wolf and Derek Lovell for their roles in this great gesture. I appreciate you all.
