Managers, there is some confusion on the commitment line rule. Here it is:
If a Batter Runner steps on the commitment line, between 3rd base and home, that base runner has committed to home. If he retreats back to 3rd base, he is out. If the base runner steps on the line any defender can throw home to get the out. No defender can touch the base runner after he commits to home. He must throw the ball to the home base to get the out.
