Guys, I asked our Area Directors to contact teams in their Area, and ask if Managers were interested in going to 'shortened games' in the summer months because of the heat and rain. Only a hand full of the Managers showed interest in doing that.  Because of the lack of interest, this issue will not go to a vote.  However, I do appreciate those who brought this up.  I think that the heat is a real concern, and that should compel the Managers to do a really good job in communicating to their teams about the need to hydrate and act responsibly with the alcohol intake to insure a safer environment for all of us during those summer months.
